Buckeye’s owner Steve Bowles has a simple philosophy: “We are dedicated to providing the best value in SCUBA instruction possible. We define value as personal enjoyment, safety and the highest level of quality instruction. You only get certified to dive once, so why not get the best training available?” That sentiment echoes that of original owners Paul and Sandy Reynolds, who started the business in 1964 on the philosophy that “SCUBA diving is a recreation, meant to be fun rather than difficult.
