We are taking registrations for the upcoming event.

We will be hosting the event at Whitestar Quarry in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
Carving time begins at 10am and ends 1pm
Judging time will be at 1:30pm
Lots of prizes, lots of fun and lots of yummy food!
1st prize this year has not been donated yet but it is usually a brand new scuba regulator or stylish dive computer valued at over $400. Chances of winning are fabulous with only 20 to 30 participants. Get registered today!

Chili Cook Off!
You now have two chances to win, caving a pumpkin underwater and submitting your chili for our first chili cook off.
Entrance fee is only $35 per head and includes

We will have hot chocolate, cider and various other festive munchies. If you would like to bring any other treats to make this event more fun, we would greatly appreciate it!
We usually make a full weekend of this event and will be camping out Saturday night across the street a Whitestar Camp Grounds. When you register let us know if you will be camping at Whitestar Saturday so we can direct all the participants to the fun and activities. Remember, if you cannot get away for the whole weekend then just come for the day!
We are expecting over 40 people this year. Mark you calendar now so you don’t forget! You don’t want to miss it again! Registration deadline is Monday September 26th.

Here is what you need to join the fun:
1. Register with Buckeye Diving School: You can do this via telephone or in person! (440)439-3677 or E-mail us. Registration fee is $35 and will include food, beverages deserts,and and your very own custom Buckeye Bowl for all that tasty chili!
2. Bring a pumpkin: Pick out a pumpkin you think will win and bring it with you! We will cut the tops and remove the guts Saturday before the dive.
3. Bring a 4-6 pound weight to help keep the pumpkin on the bottom while you carve it.
4. Use a dive knife: This is the only real rule! You must use a dive knife (but no one said you couldn’t modify a dive knife …).
Chili Contest Rules
1. You need to make enought to be judged and shared with all participants!
2. If you win your recipe gets posted for all to try to reproduce and accolades of grandeur can fill your head for 365 days until you either retain your title or are over thrown!
3. make it spicy but not too spicy so everyone can enjoy your creation.
4. bring your cast iron stomach.
